If you want to sell in the Maui condo market today you have to be real and be serious.  This seller is real serious and is arguably offering you the best deal at Honua Kai.  He has a large floor plan, 1,235 two bedroom, Honua Kai condo for sale.  He is the reservation holder for unit 922 (if you’re not sure what that means, email info@alohapotts.com.)  He is obligated to pay $975,000, the initial offering price, but he is prepared to take a haircut, as they say, and you can get it for $899,000.

At $899,000 Honua Kai 922 is the lowest priced 2 bedroom unit in either of the 2 Honua Kai buildings.  Honua Kai 922 is priced $91,000 less than the next closest 2 bedroom unit in the Hokulani building, the first of the 2 scheduled for completion, and it is priced $426,000 less than the lowest priced two bedroom in the Konea building which is still under construction.  Honua Kai 922 is over 100 square feet larger than the higher priced units and it’s on a higher floor so your views are better and it is quieter. 

Since conception, Honua Kai has been designed to be the premiere destination condominium resort property in the Kaanapali area.  With competing resorts like the Kaanapali Alii, the Whaler, Kaanapali Shores and others, that is a tall order.  And the order is being filled.

Honua Kai sits on over 39.8 acres of oceanfront on the last stretch of Kaanapali Beach. 

It’s right next to my favorite snorkeling spot.  The extensive grounds feature 3 pools, a great workout center and the recently announced Duke’s Restaurant.     

The units have the nicest interiors of any condos I’ve seen on Maui.  This unit, Honua Kai 922, is 1,235 square feet with a 190 square foot lanai.  That is over 100 square feet larger than most of the other 2 bedroom units at Honua Kai.

The bedrooms are set up so that the two bedrooms are like private master suites.  First, they are separated by the living area for maximum privacy.  Each bedroom has a sitting area, flat screen TV and its own private bath. The bathrooms are gorgeous with double sinks, frameless glass showers and a tub in the large master.  

The large master also has a slider with opens to the 190 square foot lanai.  You can enjoy sunrise over the West Maui Mountains, or draw the drapes and sleep in late in your luxurious king size bed.

The kitchen, dining and living area are set up "great room style".  The kitchen features high quality wood cabinets with thick granite counter tops.  The appliances are high end Bosch units.

The living area has a comfortable sleeper sofa, side chairs, a flat screen TV and there is a adjoining dining table and chairs.  However, you may wish to have your meals on the lanai so you can take in the rainbows in the afternoon and relax on the shady, cool side of the building in the afternoon.
